Forgive me. My most exciting news for September was the baby news! <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/verastic.com\/personal\/igwe-and-i-are-having-a-baby.html\" target=\"_blank\">I confessed on here that Igwe and I are expecting a baby<\/a><\/strong>, and most of you Sweet Potatoes were doubting me. Ah! My God will vindicate me soon. When the baby comes and I post pictures of him\/her, you better not look oh! Don&#8217;t let me catch you looking. Ehen.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, in the month of September, I was blessed with two surprise baby showers. Not one, but two! The first one was organized by my darling work friends, and the second one was organized by &#8220;Funmie and them.&#8221; For the first baby shower, we took pictures on my phone, so I will try to post those this week &#8211; maybe even tomorrow. And for the second baby shower, there was a professional photographer and I don&#8217;t have the pictures yet. I&#8217;m so eager to see them. I still owe you maternity pictures, too, I know. I won&#8217;t disappoint.<\/p>\n<p>On the business (blog) side, I got to attend another blog conference. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/verastic.com\/personal\/my-weekend-recount-blogalicious-conference-in-baltimore-5-lessons-i-took-away.html\" target=\"_blank\">I attended the Blogalicious conference<\/a><\/strong>, targeted at multicultural influencers. It was held here in Baltimore, so I couldn&#8217;t miss it. It was my first time attending this particular conference, and this year&#8217;s theme was &#8220;Build Your Own Empire,&#8221; and my, oh my, isn&#8217;t that what I am trying to do? I walked away with so much knowledge, although at some point, I started suffering from too much information. Or maybe New Information Fatigue. Still, it was worth every cent and second of my time.
