Welcome to September.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Journal\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We are now in the \u201cmber\u201d months, which means one thing: Christmas is almost here AND we are about to enter a new year. Didn\u2019t 2015 just start yesterday? Nevertheless, I\u2019m looking forward to all that God has in store for me and my family.<\/span><\/p>\n

August was interesting for me. I didn\u2019t make the power career moves I hoped to make, nor did I do anything news-worthy (in my opinion). I wish I had the same kind of news I had in July<\/a><\/strong> for you: attended another BlogHer conference, got featured on CNN, and registered Verastic as a business. Nope. Nothing on the career side anyway.<\/span><\/p>\n

In my personal life, I faced some frustrations \u2013 nothing that I can talk about here yet. Some of it was work related (not Verastic work), and again, I cannot talk about it here yet. I never really discuss my job on my blog, and even when I was in school, I barely discussed that either. I like the separation between the two lives that I live.<\/span><\/p>\n

I had a particular week in August that just wasn\u2019t too pretty, and that was also the week I accomplished the least. I was tired and uninspired. Hey, that totally rhymed, and I did not mean for it too. It was the week of August 23rd<\/sup>. I only blogged once that week. I had a bunch of posts in my head, but I never had the time, and when I did have the time, I wanted nothing to do with it. This happens every now and then, but I\u2019d like to believe that I\u2019ve gotten my mojo back. Fingers crossed.<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t have much to report about August, but since this is a monthly journal that I have committed to, here I am. But you know what\u2019s bugging me the most right now? It\u2019s the fact that I have been waiting to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 forever, and now that it\u2019s finally here, Samsung decided to release two phones at the same time, and they\u2019re both the same size, so now, I\u2019m confused. I need to type a whole venting post on this. Maybe.<\/span><\/p>\n
