Well, I didn&#8217;t. Not yet, at least. How did February go for you? For me, it was a complete blur. For one thing, I forgot that it&#8217;s only 28 days, so when the date on my phone read March 1st, I was shocked. March 1st??? Where did February go?<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Other than the blur, February was a pretty good month. I haven&#8217;t been fired from my 9 to 5 (ha!) and you guys are still reading the blog. Then I received quite a few <a href=\"verastic.com\/tag\/dear-vera\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Dear Vera mails<\/strong><\/a>. Well, February is love month, so I guess naturally, people were having love-related problems. That&#8217;s just my own interpretation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Igwe and I started reading the bible from Genesis (although we didn&#8217;t just start this in February). So many interesting things. I cannot help but wonder what it would be like if the things that happened in the bible were happening in present time. Ha! Not to worry, I&#8217;ll be sure to blog about these things. But I should say, reading the bible is a completely different experience from listening to a Pastor preach about it. It connects in a different way. Years ago &#8211; long before Igwe &#8211; I started reading the bible from the beginning and meant to read it to the end, but I got stuck at Deuteronomy. Shame, I know.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For some unknown reason, Nigeria weighed heavily on my mind in the month of February. I mean, I usually think of Nigeria anyway, but February was just a lot. I went to bed and woke up fantasizing about being in Nigeria and eating suya and drinking cold Fanta and buying roasted corn from the road side women. I have been picturing myself drinking kunu and eating sugar cane. Oh, Nigeria, my home, how I miss you!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">I keep thinking more and more about enjoying life right now. Sometimes it feels like I&#8217;m waiting to do this and do that before doing everything else. I&#8217;m always waiting for the time to be perfect before doing and went to something. Sometimes it&#8217;s a good thing, but right now though, I just want let loose and be. Hopefully, I learn how to.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In other less interesting news, this past Monday, I woke up and went to bed with a headache. While I lay in bed agonizing at night, my mind drifted to okra soup. My yummy, yummy okra soup. I couldn&#8217;t remember the last time I had some, and that&#8217;s mostly because Igwe doesn&#8217;t like okra soup. Yesterday, however, I cooked some, and I kid you not, I smiled the whole night. I was so genuinely happy!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">That&#8217;s it for February. See you in March.
