I didn’t get around to watching Real Housewives of Atlanta this Sunday because I was busy watching Beyonce swerving on that surfboard on the Grammys stage. So I just watched the episode yesterday. Where do I start?
Nene: See, I like Nene, but she can be so shady sometimes. Nene organized a pillow talk event where people were supposed to dress in their pajamas (I’m assuming?), but apparently, she didn’t get her own memo. It started off with people playing a game where they had to answer some stupid questions, like will you comfortable being in the same room with someone who has slept with your partner (I’m paraphrasing)? Then she went and started the talk about Kenya saying that Natalie’s husband said he and Natalie were only common law husband and wife (i.e. not married). Why did you do that, Nene???
Cynthia: Yet another shady boots! Cynthia was the one who told everyone else about what Natalie said (that Todd is basically an opportunist), but she was the first one to claim she wanted no part in the drama. Like hell she didn’t. Then she told Peter what Kandi said without first telling him what she said to get that reaction from Kandi.
Porsha: Not a very active participant in this episode.
Kenya: Either (1) Kenya’s Nigerian Prince doesn’t actually exist or (2) He exists, but he is no Nigerian Prince or oil tycoon, as she says he is or (3) He does exist. And he is an oil tycoon and a Prince, but she’s his sidechick … and she doesn’t even know it. So Kenya is trying to get sperm from the sperm donor and she’s acting a fool while at it. What else is new? And the pillow talk … well, let me give you a sequence of events:
Phaedra: I love Phaedra oh, but I do not for one second understand the event she had for her baby. The poor baby looked confused.
Nene started the conversation about Natalie being a common law wife to her husband and her husband confronted Kenya who confronted his wife. He tried to defend his wife by pulling Kenya, and Brandon tried to defend his friend, Kenya by coming for Natalie’s husband. Peter and Apollo tried to separate them by both somehow slamming Brandon to the chair and holding him there wile Apollo hit him. And just like that, the pillow talk event showed its true colors.
Naturally, it was a fight that consisted of shouting voices and free falling f-words, and next week, there will be even more. I’m kind of looking forward to next week because I want to see what sets Kandi off so much.
It’s hard to decide who stirred the pot. Was it Natalie for telling Cynthia and Peter that Todd was an opportunist? Or was it Cynthia for telling everyone (including Nene and Kenya) what Natalie said? Or was it Nene for bringing the subject up at the Pillow Talk party? Or was it Christopher (Natalie’s husband) for pulling Kenya’s hand? Or was it Brandon for coming to Kenya’s defense? Or was it Apollo for beating Brandon?
Heck, I don’t even know.

This is definitely one of my favorite episodes yet. I watch rhoa religiously lol.
I really didn’t see this day coming but I am totally on kenya’s side this time. Nene is is all shades of SHADYYYY. She knows what she wanted to achieve by bringing all of them together, and then providing enough drinks to fuel an already volatile situation.
It was super annoyed when she went on to confront kenya as to why she stood up to address Natalie. Ohhhhh I Love kenya sometimes, she has the best comebacks.
I can’t wait for next week’s episode sha, I hope Nene gets a taste of what she dishes to these ladies sometimes…..
Excuse my long talk… rhoa does that to me.

Long talk is always welcome here! I usually like Nene (and even all the shade she throws), but this time was just terrible. Things could have really gotten worse than they were, and poor Brandon got beaten up for no reason. Speaking of Brandon, maybe we’ll figure out why Apollo beat him up in the next episode.

As you know Nene is Ms. Shady. By bringing up that topic, she already fucked up an already messy situation. As for Cynthia, I can’t call her shady in this situation because remember that she was there with Peter when big mouth Natalie was talking about Todd. I feel either way, Todd was going to know at some point. Kenya was right to confront Natalie because big mouth can’t defend what she said. As for Apollo, am yet to understand why he started the fight with Brandon. Like you said, can’t wait for Sunday. IMO, I think these ladies should have a girls code (whatever happens in Vegas…) type of code.
NB: Apollo’s ass is in jail for fraud. Dude don’t seem to get it after sleeping in the big house for 5 years.
Vera Ezimora says
Ola, yes ooo. I heard about the Apollo in jail bit. Poor Phaedra. And can you imagine how much Kenya will laugh at Phaedra? Poor Phaedra. The reason why I said Cynthia was shady is because she knew that telling Nene and the rest what Natalie said would bring wahala, but she went ahead and did so. And when the wahala finally came, she acted brand new like she didn’t know what was going on or why it was going on.

*whistling by* later THEY will say I’m razzz
Vera Ezimora says
Fufu, make no mistake abourrit oh. RHOA is as razz as they come.
Berry Dakara says
It’s so unfair that they don’t show RHOA and RHOBH here!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no idea who Natalie and Brandon are.
Vera Ezimora says
They don’t show it there for real? Oh, wow. Sowwie. Natalie, this was my first time seeing her. I don’t remember who she is exactly, but she’s causing wahala.

Nene is a very messy, hater type of chic. I’m a Nene fan, but I’m starting to see the jealousy she displays. Remember Nene, you got a break..you are making money for being Messy !! Make your money, don’t let the money make you.
Vera Ezimora says
Jayson, I agree. I liked Nene a lot, but I was very, very disappointed with the way she acted in the last episode. And I think she was drunk, too cause I don’t understand all the prancing around.
Adabeke says
Well I am quite happy peiple are finally seeing what I saw a while ago from the beast Nene. She has always be known to be jealous going back to Kim. Hating on the girl when she did the exact same hoing around with a married man behavior that she claim Kim did except Kim was smart enough to do it with a rich man.
I still don’t think Kenya started anything. People need to control themselves and not be a wuss when it’s time to talk. Kenya got up and the Natalie chick should have gotten up too and the husband shouldn’t get in female businesses.

If you are a true housewives fan you will know that the issues discussed in each scene are producer driven. Nene asked the questions she was told to ask. All the ladies knew what was going to happen in regards to d issues that would be addressed and they took it in stride. The only issue is one person is so desperate to be a breakout star that she will do and say anything….Kenya. I have never seen a more thirsty individual on tv before. If my man doesn’t stop anyone charging at me, then I would have an issue with him. Kenya started this whole mess. JMO.
