I can’t believe that Nelson Mandela is no more. He was 95 years old. The freedom fighter fell ill about six months ago, and since then, we have pretty much been expecting this day. Still, it’s shocking when someone who is much larger than life and seemingly immortal does the human thing and dies.
His daughter Zindzi Mandela, 55, was actually watching the premiere of the new film about her father – Nelson Mandela: The Long Walk To Freedom, starring Idris Elba – when President Zuma announced his death. She left without speaking to the press.
Nelson Mandela was in prison for 27 years. 27-freaking-years!! That’s like my entire life. May God give his family the courage to celebrate the life of this great man.
