Once again, I am confronted with a large sum of money that is too big for me to even understand. $19 billion??? What does that even mean — and when can I experience some of this? I’m not asking for $19 billion. I am not even asking for $1 billion. I’ll proudly and happily be a millionaire, and I will have everything I want, plus more. I’m not greedy.
Amazing that what I might consider a simple app is worth this much money. And I cannot help but wonder, what does it do that makes it so special, and what does What’s App have that other apps of its kind don’t have? Don’t even bother answering the question. If nothing else, What’s App has 450 million monthly active users, and it acquires 1 million new users everyday. 450 million? That’s more than the number of people in America. Wow.
I might as well turn Verastic into an app, although I don’t yet what kind of tricks it will do. Or maybe I should create that free ads site I mentioned a couple of posts before, where you can buy and sell things, or I’ll make it like a sort of Instagram. Instagram is accessible both online and offline, and the online version works like the mobile version, except that you can’t upload pictures. Mmm.
I know I’m rambling, but $19 billion is a lot of freaking money! How is it fair for a person or group of people to make this much money? And I wonder how much they’ll have to pay to Uncle Sam as tax? Up to $1 billion? That should off set some of the US debt, no? *sigh*
Forgive me, people. I want money. Lots of it.

Whatsapp curently processes over 50 billion messages daily. That is more than the number of SMS sent daily acroos the whole world.
That should put some perspective as to why Facebook considered them strongly.

Was shocked to watch the news today on CNN. I decided to blog about it. Seems you beat me to it, in terms of info. Anyway, my idea and view might differ. The title of this post is hilariously true for many of us. We ain’t giving up, though.
