Being a celebrity has to be an awesome feeling. You wear something and all of a sudden, everyone starts running out to get it. Think of the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, and of course, our First Lady, Michelle Obama. I wonder how many people truly, truly, TRULY believe that the First Lady is stylish, and how many people just say it because she’s the First Lady, and because everyone else is saying it.
I personally love her fashion sense because her clothes look like clothes I would wear, if I can afford them. They’re simple and stylish. Nothing over the top. For example, I wouldn’t dare most of Rihanna’s clothes, even the ones that are conservative (I know it sounds like an oxymoron saying that Rihanna has conservative clothes), but our First Lady, however, well, she’s the First Lady. Levels dey. But I digress.
The First Daughters, Sasha and Malia looked absolutely beautiful, as usual. And the Fashion World is going crazy, also as usual. Malia’s coat came from J.Crew, and for the price of $325, you can have one, too! But err, not in the color she had on – the fresh plum color. J.Crew is retiring the color, out of respect for the First Family. The coat has been around for years, by the way. So if you’re biting yourself for not finding it sooner, you should bite harder.

The First Lady’s belt was also from J.Crew, but it was actually a bedazzled bridal dash that Michelle Obama redesigned into a belt. J.Crew has no intention of making and/or selling that either.
