Lol.. My mum told me that you do not become a good cook until you have accomplished ALL of these:
a. burnt yourcooking at least a dozen times.. including water.
b. spilled hot oil on your body
c. set the frying chicken on fire
d. blessed your meal with abundant salt.

And I am happy to tell you I am now a good cook.
Take heart, you are almost there.
