Remember when I told you about how clueless I was about my hair? Well, two months later, I am still clueless — but maybe not as much? Since that post, I have not done anything to my hair. I mean, NOTHING. I have had the intention to do something with my hair, but I have never quite made it. So when Pantene asked me to try out some of their products for natural hair, I figured this is my moment to shine. And shine, I will.
Because I have not done anything to my hair, every hairstyle is pretty much a never-done to me. But I have two hairstyles that I am currently coveting a lot: the frohawk and the afro bun. I know what you must be thinking: But Vera, what’s so special about a frohawk and an afro bun? Everything is special about it oh. As someone who hasn’t done anything – nothing at all – to her natural hair (apart from braids, weaves, and wigs), this is a mighty big deal to me. I am actually very excited about this.
Let me show you a picture of the hairstyles I’m considering. My hair isn’t as long or half as full as the hair in the high bun picture, so I know that mine won’t look like that, but at least, you can see what I’m kinda going for.
