10 years old. I always imagined that when Verastic reaches such a milestone – not that every year isn’t a milestone – I would be doing something huge. Like, I don’t know, giving away lands in Lekki. Ha! Well, I have no land to give away today, but Ada Verastic did bless me with an explosive poop today, so that was nice. She gave me one on my birthday, too, so that was nice too. I’m guessing that’s her idea of giving gifts for now.
Anyway, last year when Verastic turned 9 years old, I asked you to ask me anything, and I responded via video, and I enjoyed it so much that I am doing it again this year. Last year, I called it Shege Banza 2.0, so I suppose that this year will be called Shege Banza 3.0. And by the way, I remember now that I was planning on turning Ask Me Anything into a series/segment on the blog (like the Journey To Baby segment and the Let Me Tell You segment) and doing it maybe monthly or so. It’s been a whole year and I only remembered about it now. I am so sorry. You should read Shege Banza 2.0 and see the questions that were asked. My video response is below. By the way, I love the earrings I’m wearing, and I lost one ear at the BlogHer conference in New York last year. I still have the other ear. I’m secretly hoping I find the other ear, like maybe it’ll fall out of something.
Also, I have a big announcement to make today. Some years ago, I decided to teach a course on blogging. It was a great and teachable moment for me, but it was not what I planned or anticipated. I have never given up on that dream though, and this year, I am moving forward to do it again. Remember I told you that I created a vision board which has been scaring the living daylights out of me? Well, this is just one of the many things on my vision board. I will update the class page as I go on.
