Remember I told you that my next laser treatment was on December 8th? Well, December 8th was on Monday, and my appointment was at 7:40 PM. Coincidently, I was treated by the same nurse, Lindsay. I really like her. Because she treated me the first time, I built raport with her, so it wasn’t a totally new meeting – not that that would have stopped me.
Anyway, Lindsay did the treatment, and for the second time, she asked me if I wanted to use a numbing cream to help with the discomfort, but I declined. No, the discomfort isn’t fun, but for me, it was bearable.
Because I went there much later in the day, the place was a lot more quiet. This time, I didn’t have to fill out all the forms I filled the first time because they “know” me now. There’s something really, really special about Ideal Image, and I’m not trying to sell Ideal Image to you right now. The staff are so friendly. Yesterday, when I got there, one of the staff members welcomes me so warmly, like she knew me. By the time I was leaving, we were wishing each other a merry Christmas and 2 degrees away from getting an apartment together.
I wondered if the discomfort would feel better since I was doing it for the second time. Nope. Didn’t get any better. It’s like when you do your eyebrows. The only difference between the first treatment and the second treatment was that I knew exactly what to expect in the second treatment. When it was time to do “the back,” between my cheeks, I was lying on my stomach and by reflex, my body tightened. Specifically, the muscles of my butt tightened because they were trying to stop Lindsay from intruding, and Lindsay said, “That’s right, tighten those buns of steel.” I. Laughed. Thank you for that laugh, Lindsay. And of course, the stress stars were present.
Apart from the very friendly staff and the calm ambiance of the facility and treatment rooms, it’s comforting to remember that Ideal Image has very qualified staff to do the treatments. Everyone who administers treatments is at least a Registered Nurse. Ideal Image Laser Hair Removal has been around for over 13 years! They have state-of-the-art lasers that deliver more permanent results in fewer treatments, and they also have in house financing. Isn’t that great?
