Ladies! You know how we are. We always want our skin to be at its absolute best, and whatever can help us get there, we are ready. Today, I bring to you Lionesse Beauty Bar. Have you heard of this brand before? It’s okay if you haven’t cause I got you covered. Side note: there are more reviews on the website, so check them out.
So I have two categories of products to review: skincare/makeup and hair beauty. Read and learn.
First of all, I have always, always wanted a face primer! But for some reason, I have never gotten it. In fact, Funmie and I talk about it all the time, but I still haven’t gone out to buy one. So when I got the opportunity to review this primer, I was ecstatic. Funmie came to my house the other day and had the nerve to almost steal it!
This is my first primer, so I have nothing to compare it to, but when I applied it on my face, I nearly fainted. Even filling my brows was different! It seemed like the primer was holding it exactly where I wanted it. And it didn’t smear and reach other parts of my face that I didn’t put it on. Do you get what I mean? I was so excited about it that I made my face up at night the next time I used it, just to look at my face again. It goes on easily and doesn’t feel caked on or sticky. It also has Shea Butter, which as you know is all the rave because of its many properties, including healing and moisturizing. I really, really like this primer, and it smells good, too! Doesn’t hurt at all that it comes in this sexy container. Go get yours here.
I like blushes. On my minimum makeup days, I wear foundation, blush, and lip gloss (and depending on the state of my eye brows, I might fill them in, too). Although I liked the look of the blushes online, I actually loved them when I received them. Not only are their colors very beautiful, but they also have some sparkle in them, so they not only blush your cheeks, but they also leave an absolutely beautiful glow. Oh, and they have Titanium Dioxide which protects the skin from the sun’s powerful UV rays. It is so radiant! I also love that it’s loose powder. I was literally squealing when I opened them and saw the sparkles. Oh, my God, I love! Funmie, please stay away from my house. Grab your Rose and Sand copy now!
Show of hands if washing your hair is an event on its own. Yeah, me, too. I literally put it on my calendar. Considering how much time it takes to wash my hair, the least I can do is enjoy it with the best products. My favorite property about this shampoo is its untangling feature. When your hair is natural, you need all the help you can get in not having it tangled. This shampoo has proteins derived from plants and olive oil. Did someone just say olive oil? Sign me up.
The Lionesse Hair Mask is intensive treatment for your hair. It’s good for over processed and over dry hair, and considering that it’s winter, you know you don’t even have to do anything for your hair to be extra dry. It’s brutal out there, so whichever way hair can be fortified, it should be done. I really like the smell of this hair mask (and shampoo and conditioner too). It’s smells nice, but isn’t overly perfumed. All you have to do is apply a generous amount on your hair, leave on for about 5 minutes, and then rinse off. Your tresses will thank you. Grab your shampoo and hair mask quickly!
My favorite item from them all? The primer!!! Hopefully, I don’t run out of foundation soon because this primer is making me want to paint my face all day. Oh, my goodness. Seriously, go to Lionesse Beauty Bar and check out their many, many products. They have everything from curl irons to hair extensions to beads extensions. Go spoil yourself.
