So I am soooo excited! Igwe and I were over at Olu and Uzo’s house yesterday and he handed us our DVD. Soon as we got home, we popped it in. The entire video itself is about 45 minutes long, but the montage – which is absolutely beautiful – is less than five minutes. If you missed Igwe’s proposal, please read it here, complete with the story and pictures.
Meanwhile, before we went to dinner, we took a few pictures outside of church. Just to be clear, I still had no idea at this time what was coming. I asked Uzo to take some pictures of me, but Olu (her husband) ended up doing it. Just while we were rounding up, Igwe showed up, ready for us to leave, so
I told him to join me he begged to join me. That’s how we ended up with these pictures.
I just want to say a big thank you again to everyone who was a part of this special day, especially Funmie and Uzo who assisted Igwe in planning and executing the proposal. And of course, to Olu, Uzo’s husband who is the best videographer ever! He makes the absolute best videos, no kidding. Watching any of his videos would make you want to do something – anything – that will put you on YouTube. Check Olu’s YouTube and Facebook pages for more exciting videos.
Once again, thank you to every single one of you who reads this blog. Though I have not met most of you, I really consider you my family. Every time something happens in my life, I just cannot wait to share with you. Thank you. You rock my world.
P.S. Igwe chose the sound track of this video (it’s One Naira by MI, featuring Waje, in case you’re wondering). I don’t know who gave him the impression that I will drink garri with him. What insult! I have upgraded to Frosted Flakes, thank you very much!
