I don’t know if I have ever told you how obsessed I am with glossing my lips. I have a big jar of Vaseline petroleum jelly that is literally part of the decor of the living room. When I’m sitting on my chair and doing whatever it is – like right now that I’m blogging – I’m constantly dipping my finger in my Vaseline and moisturizing my lips. The jar is now almost empty.
Anyway, as you can imagine, my purse also has many lip glosses and lip balms. I’m always buying something new, and I use them all – some more than others. So the other day, I was in line at Walmart when I spotted this Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm right there in the checkout line. I bought it, took it home, and unwrapped it quickly. Then I went to the mirror and applied it on my lips … and oh, my goodnessssss!!! I. Love. It.
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Quenched
This lip balm is amazing! It’s moisturizing and it has that glossy, shiny finish, which for me is a must. I don’t want my lips to look like I emptied a can of Crisco on them, but when I rub my lips together, I want them to glide. This lip balm makes my lips feel like .. what’s the word now … ah, yeah, baby lips! It has SPF 20, and according to the Maybelline website, it lasts up to 8 hours. I will not lie to you: it doesn’t last up to 8 hours. Maybe it does/has for someone else, but not for me.

It’s not expensive. I don’t remember the exact price, but I know that it was less than $4. It’s available in tinted shades, which I haven’t tried, but would absolutely love to (mine is the Quenched one). There’s also another Baby Lips line that is called Baby Lips Electro, and from the name, you can expect brightness! I haven’t tried any of these, but I very well intend to. In fact, I haven’t seen any other one of these lip balms except the one I have because I got it from the checkout line. Now that I think of it, it was the only one sitting there, so maybe a customer changed her mind and just dumped it there. Yay for me.
When I get the other “flavors,” I’ll be sure to share with you. Maybelline, girl, you done good! So, overall, what score do I give Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm? On a scale of 1 to 10, I’ll give it 10. Go on, girls, spoil your lips. For all the work they do, they deserve it.

For a man, I do a lot of lips-glossing. Must be because I am a natural dark and thick “lipper”. This girl- friend of mine once gave me a lip balm, and I have loved it like forever. About this brand, I would surely remember it if I ever come by it.

I LOVE Baby Lips. I’ve been loving it for almost a year now. The price ranges from $2.99 and up. I’ve bought it for $4.19 once. That price stuck with me because I felt I was being robbed!
