When I was in my late teens/early twenties, I would wear makeup and go to bed without cleaning it off. What skincare regime?! Yup, I was hot like that. But as I got older, no one had to tell me to stop doing that. These days, I literally wake up from sleep to go clean my face, if I accidentally fall asleep with makeup on my face. But it’s not just because I am older now, but also because my relationship with makeup has changed.
These days, it hurts me somewhere deep in my soul when I think of the makeup rubbing off my face and on to the couch or bed sheet, or wherever I fall asleep. Ugh! In addition to that, Ada Verastic loves grabbing my face with her hands and sometimes, she even takes it a step further by attempting to lick it. I do love my foundation, but I don’t want it in Ada Verastic’s belly.
Usually, as soon as I get home, I take off my shoes, bra, clothes, and then, makeup. My go-to makeup remover is the Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths. I. Love. This. Stuff. It doesn’t burn my eyes and it doesn’t leave my skin dry. Before I got hooked on the Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths, I tried a bunch of other brands. Some were too scented; some were too little; some barely took off any makeup; some of them burned my eyes, and some were just too expensive.
The thing about Cetaphil® is that they make gentle products for even the most sensitive skin. I was introduced to the brand by my mommy who swears by the Cetaphil® Daily Facial Moisturizer, and she was introduced to it by a stranger, a nice Pakistani woman at the gas station. Thank you to that lady. Whether it’s the cleansing wipes or the lotion or the cleanser, Cetaphil® will leave your face feeling moisturized and not clogged or heavy.
Cetaphil® isn’t only for sensitive skin, but for all skin types, and it’s great because everyone, including those with sensitive skin can use it. They even have products for men, like the Cetaphil® Daily Face Cloths. You can check out the site to see the many products they have that you may love. Also, don’t forget to connect with Cetaphil® on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google+
