The truth is that for some bloggers, they are big and known (and connected) enough to not need to pitch brands. The brands come to them. But for everyone else, you may need to pitch the brands yourself. Think of it this way: there are tons of brands out there that want to pay you to do what you already do so well, but they have to know of you to work with you. Your job, through the pitch, therefore, is to let them know you.
